I said it once and I'll say it again...Hook em' Mutha Fuckin' Horns!
Ok. So, I'm not the biggest football fan around, but tonight, this one big guy ran up and tackled this other big guy on the field..next thing you know, we're all cheering!
So, then after that, the faster, more nimble big guy on OUR team (this would be the Longhorns, if you weren't following) threw the ball and another one of our guys caught it...he ran and ran and ran....and then, TOUCHDOWN!
We were cheering. This calls for a shot.
There were times when the bad guys were winning...this was not very happy...no cheers were called for...
But, in the end...OUR team won...(this would be the Longhorns...if, um, you weren't following..)...so that means, hey..
WE'RE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! (...the Longhorns, that is...)
It was really weird...everyone else in the city thought it was pretty cool, too! And to think..I thought I was the only one. They were all honking their car horns and shouting and stuff...neat.
I can say it's actually one of the neatest things I've seen 'round here.
Ever. Really...ever.

I'm a big dork who has on burnt orange today! WOOHOO! Thanks for texting me about the win last night! It was a delightful little tidbit after an emotional (emotional in a good way) evening.
Also, I would like to propose that we switch our "Good Times" theme from the tv show to the Chic song. What say you? I'm feeling saucy today!

The very one!
As for the emotional --- I had been swilling "pink drinks" all night (b/c it was Wednesday) and then got an unexpected phone call. I'm still not sure if the call was a buzzkill, but it would have defintitely been less emotional had i not been tanked on pink drink. Your textmsg re: UT's well-played win did elevate my spirits. It's about time an alma mater of mine played some winning ball.

Yes, I nearly shit myself when the clock ran out. Think Kramer when he won all that money at the horse track after overhearing a tip on the subway in the subway episode of Seinfeld.
